Right now, Islam isn’t terribly extreme in Iraq since the government has such strict control of all activities and extremist groups would be a threat to Hussein’s rule. I’ve stated in the past that I don’t particularly trust Islam because of its history and especially its invocation in recent terrorist activities.  Now, there are good Muslims out there, to be sure.
